Boost Mobile Cellular Phone Service

I have been evaluating several pre-paid cellular phone service offerings from various companies and I have to say this package is the best deal around.  I should mention that the deal is for people that stay in their home area.  So for instance, if you travel outside of your state you would be charged a flat rate of 15 cents per minute (a far cry from regular roaming fees!). You should definitely check into what defines your home area, as usually it's a good portion of the state where you reside, but not necessarily the entire state. Unfortunately, until they expand they can only do it in 12 States and that's great for those folks and not so great for everyone else!  The offering is available in the following states:

Louisiana

North Carolina
Oklahoma
Tennessee
Texas

Because of the obvious popularity of the program they are constantly adding new states (which is the good news), so don't be surprised to see them in your area soon.  One of the new phones they offer is the Motorola Krazr.  While it doesn't support the famous BLEEP BLEEP that Boost is known for it's a very slick phone that looks good.  So far I have been very satisfied with the coverage that Boost Mobile has in my area.  I'm in an very rural Wisconsin area and I have a full signal most everywhere I go.  I am nominating the Boost Mobile Cellular Service for the Best Prepay Solution of 2008 award.  After I have had the opportunity to really test out the rest of the offerings nationwide I'll make the final decision so check back in a few months to see what we come up with. 3 out of 3 stars for the Boost Mobile Cellular Service.
